Inventory Analyst
Job Description
Klymit is looking for a smart, talented, and entrepreneurially minded individual to join the team as an inventory analyst. We need someone with excellent analysis skills with an eye for detail while also being a driven producer willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done. We are searching for an inventory analyst with crossover functions with product management to join our operations team.
Responsibilities
Inventory Analysis- Collaborate with sales and operations to understand inventory flow to prevent out-of-stocks, overstocks, and overcommitting of inventory
Historical Purchasing vs. Forecasting- Provide detailed analysis of sales numbers by SKU vs forecasted sales number each month
Inventory Forecasting- Work closely with the Klymit management team doing monthly inventory forecasting and purchasing
Reconcile Cycle Count Data- Take the data collected from monthly physical cycle counts and reconcile that against the inventory management system to minimize loss, uncover errors with receiving, shipping, and warehousing of product
Importing Logistics- Manage importing logistics from Klymit factories in Asia, working with both the factory representatives and our freight forwarders to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure proper documentation is obtained to keep inventory flowing smoothly to our fulfillment center and direct ship partners

Qualifications
Analytical- Able to find and synthesize data, generate insights, ID opportunities and make the case for allocating or purchasing inventory based on knowledge of customers, trends, and the market. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
Problem Solver- Solve new problems that inevitably come in a fast-growth company.
Entrepreneurial Innovator- Willing to try new things and experiment. Embrace growth through innovation, initiation, thinking differently, collaborating, and leading by action.
