Linux Instructor

Job Description

The Guru Labs Instructor is a key position in the organization. New instructors join an extremely talented team of Linux enthusiasts. Varied responsibilities include teaching Linux classes locally and abroad, and developing and updating Linux course materials. Instructors will be constantly working with smart people on cutting edge Linux projects. Teaching Linux and co-worker interaction will add great depth and breadth to the instructorâ  s knowledge.
Teach Guru Labs and client classes
Write and update content for courseware materials
Accept additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Travel: Up to 50%
Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly
Willingness to travel 2-3 weeks a month
Speaks and writes well
Energetic and comfortable presenting to groups
Effectively and professionally interact with students and clients
Can productively self-manage
2+ years Linux experience
RHCE Certification or the ability to obtain it after 60 days of on the job training

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
