Regional Sales Manager

Job Description
Klymit is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to be located in Centerville, UT. This position will report directly to the V.P. of Sales and will be responsible for the management of various regions and customers within our U.S. distribution channels. The RSM role is accountable for achieving Klymitâ  s key business objectives by developing and executing customer business plans that achieve our sales growth and margin target. The RSM is also responsible for new customer acquisition.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
â ¢ Selling: Develop and deliver effective selling presentations that acquire and/or grow retail customer business
â ¢ Negotiating: Improve customer performance and ROI through frequent and effective negotiation
â ¢ Profitability: Own responsibility for customer margin contribution and effectively manage customers to accomplish assigned financial objectives
â ¢ New Product Launches: Develop and execute plans for effective launches of newly developed products. This process could include input on strategies for product specs, packaging, and retail execution
â ¢ Customer/Channel Expert: Learn all facets of customer and channel dynamics and use understanding to align on customer priorities
â ¢ Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional colleagues, including; customer service, shipping, product development, finance, and supply chain
â ¢ Performance Tracking: Utilize available tools to analyze data on a variety of critical business drivers to improve results
â ¢ Customer Planning: Develop and execute customer plans through applications of sales disciplines, company strategies, and go-to-market guidelines
â ¢ Volume and Co-op Spend Forecasting: Develop accurate volume and financial forecasts
â ¢ Budgets: Manage your budgets according to company guidelines
Qualifications
Key qualifications for this position include:
â ¢ Bachelorâ  s Degree
â ¢ 2+ years of professional sales experience (CPG highly preferred)
â ¢ Strong history of delivering sustainable growth and exceeding customer plans
â ¢ Proven track record in sales planning and customer P&L planning
â ¢ Solid analytical skills in MS Office and internal sales tools
â ¢ Consumer product channel experience. Experience selling within specific retail channels with understanding of channel dynamics
â ¢ Relationship Building: Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships internally and at customer level
â ¢ Presentation Building: Skilled at development of presentation documents drawing from all available sources
â ¢ Presenting Skills: Delivery of presentations in one-on-one or group settings to deliver specific message and obtain the desired pre-planned result
â ¢ 25% travel requirement

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
