Parts Driver
Deliver parts to our fantastic wholesale customers and pick up parts for our world class service department. If you've got a great attitude, are a self-motivated person, work well with others, take direction from others, have a clean driving record, and a desire to contribute to the success of the best automotive dealership in the state, send us your resume. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must pass a pre-employment screening.
The following is a general description of the duties the parts driver is expected to fulfill:
Deliver parts and pick up parts/supplies as directed. Pull the correct parts for your deliveries. Appropriately handle returns you picked up. Collect signatures and or payment for each invoice you deliver parts for. When returning from deliveries write accurate receipts for each non charge invoice. Maintain the cleanliness of all the parts vehicles. Ensure parts vehicles maintenance/repair needs are brought to the attention of the parts staff. Maintain the cleanliness of the parts department, sweep, mop, clean counters, clean glass, clean bins, dispose of cardboard/pallets, empty garbage, clean/straighten displays, dust computers/phones, etc. Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior of the parts building area by removing any debris present. Help check in orders and put away inventory. Assist with performing an annual parts inventory and help with perpetual inventory. Completely responsible for proper warranty parts scrapping and storage. Learn to ship packages out on UPS and Intermountain Freight. Learn the electronic catalog to be able to look up parts. Learn the parts functions of the DMS. Assist other departments in various ways as the need arises. Professionally interact with retail, internal, and wholesale customers. This is not a complete list of duties but gives a general overview of what is expected. Other duties will be added to this list as needed.
