Project Superintendent
Superintendent Responsibilities-Ascent Construction, Inc.
The Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel and subcontractors to successfully complete the project-exceeding customer expectations in all performance areas including; schedule, teamwork, budget and quality. This includes administering best safety practices with all on-site activities, maintaining the job site office and effectively closing out the project. (Reports to the Project Manager, then to the President.)
Core Responsibilities
-Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
-Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
-Maintains the construction schedule.
-Identifies and helps resolve risk and potential construction problems
-Orders materials and schedules inspections as needed throughout the process.
-Understands the project plans and specifications.
-Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
-Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list.
-Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and solves job site hazards.
-Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
-Maintains an organized and clean job site, including the construction office.

Education and Experience
-High school diploma required, college education preferred.

years experience of successful project leadership as a superintendent in the commercial construction industry required.
-Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of commercial construction.
-Experienced in managing multiple projects.
