Working with a company that is rapidly growing in the print and promotional item industry, this position is for
an organized and self motivated individual. Applicant must be comfortable working with deadlines, midstream
changes and new technology.
Prepress experience is critical to this position. Working with both the art department and production to achieve
repeatable results with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. You will be verifying layouts, proof-reading,
setting up documents for offset press and making plates for those presses.
Digital Press Operator responsibilities are to maintain the 2 digital presses, print jobs in a timely fashion with a
high degree of accuracy and verify all work. This position is a secondary position to the Prepress position and
training is available as needed.
Software knowledge:
InDesign CS6, XMPie Variable data plugin
Illustrator CS6
Photoshop CS6
Working knowledge of Step and Repeat software (Dynagram)
Working knowledge of RIP processes, software and hardware (Rampage, Fiery)
Friendly and able to work with lots of types of people and maintain professionalism
Comunicates well both verbally and in writing
Familiar with Plate Processors
Able to send files via e-mail and ftp
Creative problem solving and self motivated
Ability to prioritize and change gears quickly
Willing to train:
Digital press operation, maintenance, color calibration
Plate making and processor maintenance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
