Responsibilities:
1Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to:
A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliation.2Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account.3Complete end of fiscal year closing process, and effectively communicate financial results to management.4Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.5Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.6Review and process expense reports and receipts submitted by employees in an accurate and timely manner.7Assist with tax audits and tax returns.8Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.9Ensure compliance with all internal processes.10Prepare budget forecasts and monitor them meticulously.11Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.12Perform month-end client invoicing, prepare contract drafts and amendments.13Maintain orderly accounting filing system.14Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.
Qualifications:
1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.-3Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.4Proficiency with accounting software, QuickBooks, and other related financial systems.5Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite.6Experience with project accounting in the construction industry is a plus.7Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).8Excellent written and verbal communication skills.9High attention to detail and accuracy.10Ability to direct and supervise.11Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.12Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.13Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on accurate analyses.Interested in hearing more?
