Reports to the Director, Corporate Programming. Receives and determines project requirements and schedule under the direction of the Director, Corporate Programming. Responsible for analyzing, designing, writing and implementing computer software for a variety of company systems in compliance with given requirements.
Essential Functions:
Perform design, development, writing documentation, debugging, implementation, maintenance, revision, and administration of software systems. Recommend improvements and/or redesign systems to adjust to changes in requirements. Assist with installation, maintenance and administration of operating system, network, hardware and other related areas when necessary. Attend computer conferences and seminars as required. Maintain technical knowledge of corporate computer and software systems. Recommend technology for MTC's competitive advantage in a timely manner. Provide user support, training, and excellent customer service. Use call tracking system to document all customer interaction and to record time spent on tasks. Maintain software standards, quality, and schedule under the direction of Director, Corporate Programming. Maintain accountability of property and adhere to safety practices. It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management. Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems. Two years' experience with JAVA/J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Relational Database/SQL, Unix/Linux/Windows, systems analysis, and system design Experience with the following:
Eclipse IDE, Crystal Reports, BIRT Reports, Docker, bash, information security Must be willing and able to travel. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record. Due to the sensitive nature of the information handled, the incumbent must submit to and be able to pass a national fingerprint-based background check. MTC is a federal contractor. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
